Santiago, Chile: 300 Meters Above the City

Standing at the top of Gran Torre Santiago at Sky Costanera, 300 meters above the city, you get a profound sense of how Santiago's enormous metropolitan footprint anchors itself against the towering wall of the Andes.

From 62 stories up, the scale is remarkable.

I have always been interested in how cities establish their "bones" and shape their skylines. From this perspective, Santiago is a striking example of what modern engineering and urban development can achieve.

The clarity from this height is unmatched. Buildings, roads, neighborhoods, and infrastructure stretch toward the mountains, while millions of people continue their everyday lives far below.

Santiago did not disappoint.

The view from here is both majestic and humbling.
